Myths of Asian Woman

With my wife as my point of reference, I will now present the actual characteristics of Asian women as I have come to know them.  People associate stereotypes with Asian women are depicted as soft-spoken, submissive and eager to please: 

Qualities of Asian Women

• Asian women are charming and attentive to their partner.
• Asian girls have many qualities ensuring that they are constantly in demand
• Asian girls are highly conscious of the paramount significance of family.
• Asian women are easily adaptable to new cultures.
• A typical Asian upbringing engenders its women with the importance of manners and respect for others

What are They Looking for?

The politeness and respect that Asian girls have been raised to act with as second nature is not reciprocated in their Asian countries, whereas Western men will return it many times over. Asian girls are very familiar with the many advantages of Western men and value the virtues with which they are associated. They advertisie themselves as mail order brides with a desire to enter into marriage and family life. These women understand that Western men can offer the stability, both economically and emotionally.

The institution of marriage is valued very highly in Asian culture and it is seen as a commitment to be undertaken with the utmost seriousness. In essence, Asian women have grown up respecting traditions that have existed in their homelands for thousands of years, of which marriage and family are an indispensable part. For example, the deference, consideration and chivalry, which can not always be found in their male counterparts in their Asian countries. In Asian culture, Asian girls are seen as being secondary and indeed subservient to their husbands, rather than interacting on the same level as them.
